I think the issue is, these kind of machines are not yet found in the majority of laboratories that exist in Nigeria today.
Which is why our healthcare system is the way it is - it is not accessible to the poor and even when it is accessible, it is not quality care being offered.
We might not be equally advanced in technology. But we actually have quite a number of technological advancement aiding medical diagnostics in Nigeria (I speak for my own).
Haematological and Chemistry processes in diagnostics are almost completely taken over by artificial intelligence in the machines that run the test examinations.
Machines such as Beckman Coulter, Miura, Sysmex, etc.. require little or no human effort except while running calibration, quality controls & routine maintenance.
