<p>My mouth was open in shock at the first sentence.</p><p>Made me realise I really didn't know much about Africa.</p><p>I think the mothers that do this have the right intentions but wrong practices.</p><p>And you're right about using the effort to educate men.</p><p>But I've found that it's almost second nature to humanity to tweak the girl to adjust rather than caution the man.</p><p>Hopefully we would get to a point when we dish out the appropriate actions.</p>
