I’ll use myself as an example again. My parents didnt want me writing.. I kid you not. They felt like it could be a side hobby not something worthwhile (they are both writers that abandoned it for their careers) so they thought I could do same.I didnt stop instead I started writing more determined to make a name out of what I did. And I think you can too.You don’t have to look for a jobYou can start by creating what you do gets and putting yourself out thereBe it IG or TikTok

People would notice you that way. It might seem slow but I tell you it’s a great way to launch. (Tip: be open minded times and opinion differ)

Finally. Have that talk with them( this is relationship dependent) if your parents are the kind to listen or at least just one is .. sit them down and explain your vision for your life (I highly advise you start something first so you can use it as evidence)
