The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality and insightfulness of their content.
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via comments.

The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month. We pick the top 3.

I disagree just a little bit.
For instance, in Nigeria, when a bad news comes on social media or main stream media, people immediately believe it without even asking questions to prove it. But when some good news about good deeds done start to go around, people immediately discredit it's validity.
I just think it's a bad programming that is contagious.
An expectation for things to keep being bad and when there is a glimmer of hope that things are probably getting better, you're in disbelief.
