<p>Pain deserves to be heard, but amazingly identity must never merge with the fall.</p><p>Honestly this happens to a lot of people, using that one pain as an identity, it's not really funny</p>

Honestly I must say the best way to tackle it is showing them that their identity is very beautiful, better than their pain

That's why when they express their feelings, you don't stop or interrupt them

You listen and don't judge or react negatively immediately

Show them how beautiful their personality is

Instead of telling them

This separate pain from their identity

Tell me if it works

I would love your feedback on this
