<p>For an African parent, just learn them, their behavior, read them like a book and know what makes them happy and angry, do what makes them happy often and they'll leave you and face other people.</p><p>Get to know them. Some are just dealing with life and you can be a companion.</p><p>Become their friend and where there's boundaries, draw the line (respectfully, jokingly and sweetly, firmly.)</p><p><br></p><p>Joke with them too</p>
