<p>Hi Divine.</p><p>I'm not a parent yet.</p><p>So, from the perspective of one who grew up with active parental oversight and having to watch other kids outside in the evenings (just like the ones you described), I will say that as a child or a young teenager you are extremely impressionable. To some extent, adults are also impressionable how much more, kids. So, parents who are unavailable to provide guidance for whatever reason would likely be shocked when their child eventually mirrors habits learned.</p>
