I read through this article and I came to this conclusion.. Of all the wrongs done by religions, the church sins revolve around being rich while the country/continent remains poor. Now, tell me why you listed this in the same light with 911{an event that has nothing to do with Africa} which is pure evil done by certain religious people who believe that their God rewards them for the deaths of their enemies.. Your response will display your level of hypocrisy, I am waiting.

3} These other religions on the other hand instruct people to do these evil things claiming that they get a reward for doing them.

See this..

One says, you are a sinner if you don't do evil to other men with other/same beliefs in your God's name.

Another say, you are a sinner if you don't learn to die for other people as your Lord died for you, and live by the principles of forgiveness, humility and service.

Apparently, one is a religion problem while the other is a man problem. Not same.

2} What separates the church from these religions is that, when the people{leaders and members} do these evil things, they do them outside the teaching of the new testament.. as the message of God in Christ is love and self sacrifice, something that His apostles exemplified in their own lifestyle and were later killed for.

1} Sincere apologies for the late response, recently started using Twocents and didn't know how to read or respond to replies on comments.

My point was that while you mentioned the evil done by certain religious fanatics, your post failed to highlight the evil done by the church{ I am not claiming that there is non}.

Broooo... Thanks for your comment. My mention of 911 wasn't specific to Africa but rather connecting terror to religion. But you can link 911 to Africa because the world is a GLOBAL VILLAGE. Also, the War on Terror and quest to find and seize weapons of mass destruction is inclusive of the Global North and South (Africa de Global South). Arguably, terrorist groups have a network and can birth, finance other terrorist groups. Africa is not in Isolation! Looking forward to your kind response 👀
