2} Except you are claiming that only the bad in recent times are our faults, without looking at how transformed things have become because of the birth of "dot.com" era.All through history, there have always been the lazy, the uncreative, the copy cats etc.However, non of this people had the privilege of being known because only those who did extraordinary work had their work noticed and rewarded.

I think I'd answer to this post. Even then, everything wasn't rosy. There were bad and terrible.

But I believe that there is a higher level of comfort now than the past. A lot have become structured, machines and technology has made life "more comfortable" as opposed to the level of difficulty and expertise/excellence needed to push your work into renown.

It's like they say "Michael Jackson sold round the world where there was no internet". That's what cements his king status
