I shared with a former business partner sometime last year, that I wasn't interested in being his friend as much as I was interested in making our relationship better through consistent results.He felt bad at first, but after I got the business a six figure investment, he began to understand me a bit better.While I can't say for sure if I was respected as much as I deserved, I'd say that my relationship with him became more interesting as he saw that I was there to get results.
