<p>Some rules are just so foolish that you have to wonder who made this a rule? For what reason do I have to obey this? But If there is no rule, there will be no crime. Rules are set for certain standards to be met.</p>

Rules are essential and for our protection, very valid and true.

The "rules" being talked about in this instance are more of trends, habits, things that people do without second thoughts because everyone else does them.

I hope that's clearer
