A LOT OF NIGERIANS WANT TO "RUN AWAY", WHY?

Many individuals believe that the japa phenomenon in Nigeria, which has reduced due to expenses and various reasons, is driven by a mindset focused on hard work and the pursuit of wealth. While this is one of the major reasons, the real reason is the feeling that efforts don't matter.

You can go to school, earn a top degree, learn a skill, and work from morning until evening, and still feel stuck because the system doesn't acknowledge consistent efforts, which is frustrating in a way that cannot be explained.

This is why people are forced to look for options; their choices consist of places with a working system, where plans make sense and efforts are rewarded.

The uncomfortable part is that, a lot of people just want to run away without a realistic plan or sufficient knowledge of where they are running to and what they are running towards.

What they fail to understand is that running won't magically fix their problems, and it could potentially make them worse.

If you're planning on leaving, It's important to answer the following questions before even starting the process:

Where am I running to?

Why am I running?

What am I running towards?

Running is not the problem, staying isn't the problem either.

The real problem is making a life-changing decisions without clarity.

Running should NOT be driven by frustration, rather it should be a calculated move guided with a clear plan.
