A WORLD MADE QUIET
<p>I thought I had the world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not part of it, </p><p>all of it.</p><p><br/></p><p>But when it slipped through my hands</p><p>I realized something quiet and terrifying:</p><p><br/></p><p>I had nothing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nothing…</p><p>except my head</p><p>and my heart.</p><p><br/></p><p>Two invisible things</p><p>pulling the weight of a visible life.</p><p><br/></p><p>So I built.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not with hands ,</p><p>with thought.</p><p>Not with certainty ,</p><p>with feeling.</p><p><br/></p><p>I built a world where possibility didn’t ask permission.</p><p>Where memories didn’t fade,  they bloomed.</p><p>Where the love I kept hidden finally had a place to breathe.</p><p><br/></p><p>An island.</p><p>A house standing alone against the horizon.</p><p>Footsteps on paths I never dared to walk in the waking world.</p><p><br/></p><p>And in losing everything I was told mattered…</p><p>I met the only things that actually create.</p><p><br/></p><p>So when people ask me</p><p>“What is most important to you?”</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t name possessions.</p><p>I don’t name status.</p><p>I don’t name what can be taken.</p><p><br/></p><p>I say this:</p><p><br/></p><p>My head.</p><p>My heart.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because when the world gives you nothing…</p><p>they still know how to make something.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes</p><p>that something</p><p>is a world.</p>
