Maybe I wanted you to stay, not because I wanted you, but because I loved the idea of someone thinking they loved me, the idea that your emotions had clouded your ability to critically think, to analyze, to say no.</p><p><br/></p><p>When you finally said no, not through your words but from your eyes, I knew this era had ended. I tried to do better, I didn’t want to lose you, but your eyes spoke their last words. God was right, you had it in you. Now I want to ask a question: will you take me back?</p>
