BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND SOCIAL SKILL #6.1

● LISTEN MORE THAN YOU SPEAK

Listening more than you speak is one of the strongest social skills you can develop. It’s not just good manners, it’s a form of wisdom. When you listen, you don’t only hear words; you gain knowledge, perspective, and understanding about people and life.

There’s a saying that “experience is the best teacher.” Many believe you only learn when something happens to you, but I believe you can also learn from the experiences and even the mistakes of others. That’s the power of listening, it saves you from unnecessary surprises and prepares you for challenges ahead.

For me, listening has been a personal growth tool. Being the youngest among my peers most times, I naturally leaned toward listening to their stories and experiences. This has helped me build stronger friendships, gather wisdom, and learn how to interpret words and emotions more deeply.

And here’s the truth: everyone wants to feel understood. When you listen, people feel valued. They feel that what they are saying matters. That is how trust is built, and that is how strong relationships are formed.

MAJO♡! #6.1

BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND SOCIAL SKILL ...
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
