We all choose to make our choice in this world and most times accept the rewards and consequences of the actions behind those choices.

Yet no one gives this a thought regarding the story of the first man, many believe Adam "fell" simply because Eve gave him the fruit to eat.

BUT...

Know this today 📌

The fall of man was and it still is a result of man's exercise of choice. Adam chose to eat of the fruit - He wasn't forced, perhaps he was persuaded, but forced ❌. Therefore his separation from God and all other activities that followed were simply the rewards of his exercise of choice.

Newton's third law states "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". So for man's action of disobedience there was an equal and opposite reaction of separation.

Now, regarding Adam's temptation we would be completely right to say alot of factors influenced his decision to sin but we should note that while *temptation* is always palatable,it is not always as straight forward as it seems :

🖋️ The devil appeared to Jesus when he knew he was hungry not while he had eaten and was rested.

🖋️Job's faith was tested and his temptation was to curse God since his riches were no more.

🖋️ King David fell because he felt he had "tried" - he had fought enough battles so he could finally rest.

Just like each of these stories, Adam's temptation wasn't as simple as eating the fruit as we all believe. I believe there's a reason the devil appeared to Eve and not Adam, let's also imagine Adam refused to eat of the fruit...,she might have questioned his loyalty and trust for her [Just speculating this though 🤔🤔🤔]. So this piece, isn't to throw shades on past events or blame our ancestors for the way things turned out, rather it's to teach us to reflect on the options we're offered before making our choices and learn to be responsible for the "equal reactions coming with those actions" instead of saying you did what you did because "Eve offered you the fruit and you couldn't refuse' 🙄🙄🙄

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
