Christian theology
<p>Christian theology is the disciplined study of God, His works, His revelation, and the Christian faith. The word theology comes from the Greek theos (God) and logos (word, study, or reasoning). In simple terms, Christian theology asks:</p><p>“What has God revealed about Himself, humanity, salvation, the Church, and the future—and how should we understand and live in light of that revelation?”</p><p>Christian theology is the disciplined study of God, His nature, His works, His revelation, and His relationship with humanity, especially as revealed through Jesus Christ and Scripture.</p><p>The word theology comes from Greek:</p><p>Theos — God</p><p>Logos — word, reason, study, or discourse</p><p>So, broadly, theology means the study and understanding of <a class="tc-blue" href="https://God.Christian" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">God.Christian </a> theology is the structured study of God, faith, and the beliefs of the Christian religion. It explores who God is, how God interacts with the world, and what God expects from people. This study uses the Bible, church history, logic, and personal spiritual experience to explain and defend the Christian faith.</p><p>The Foundation: Scripture</p><p>Christian theology begins with the conviction that God has revealed Himself, ultimately and authoritatively through Scripture.</p><p>“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine…” — 2 Timothy 3:16</p><p>The Bible is therefore central to Christian theology.
