The first question you need to ask yourself is: Why am I not being consistent?

Do I genuinely not have enough time, or do I have time but I'm spending it on other things?

Whenever I hold my phone, what do I usually do with it? Do I simply scroll through social media platforms without really accomplishing anything? What are those activities that take over my day and prevent me from showing up consistently on my own platforms?

Once you've identified those things, ask yourself another important question:

Are these activities more important than building and showing up for my social media platforms?

If they genuinely are more important, then you're doing the right thing, Beloved. But if they aren't more importantโ€”or aren't important at allโ€”then you need to start working on letting them go.

No matter how attached or hooked we become to something negative or unproductive, we can always let it go when we are truly determined to, through discipline and by denying the desires of the flesh.

But what if, after examining your day, you discover that those activities are actually on the same level of importance as building your social media platforms?

Then ask yourself:

Is there a way I can create my posts in between those activities?

Can I handle both? Are there moments when I take breaks or have some free time? And what do I normally do during those moments?

Could I use some of those breaks to create one or two posts?

Is it possible?

And those moments when I normally spend scrolling endlessly through social media on my phoneโ€”can I deny myself that pleasure and exchange it for creating content for my own platforms?

As an introvert, I used to be the chairman of social media scrolling. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I could spend so much time scrolling without really achieving or accomplishing anything useful.

But at some point, the hunger and desire for purpose became stronger than my desire for those things, and I realised that I had to let them go.

I stopped watching movies. The one I found particularly difficult to let go of was watching football. But with the help of the Holy Spirit, I eventually did it because I realised that they were distracting me from focusing on the things that truly mattered.

It wasn't easy.

But I came to understand that sometimes, you have to bleed a little if you really want to get certain things done.

I had to weigh what mattered more to me: football matches, Korean moviesโ€”which I was honestly addicted to ๐Ÿ˜‚โ€”or my purpose.

And I chose my purpose.

Why?

Because it was more important.

I value my future. I value God's assignment for my life. And because I value them more, I had to discipline myself and let go of certain pleasures.

I go to work every day, but I still make out time to create content for my platforms.

Sometimes, I create posts while I'm on the bus going to work. Sometimes, when I have some free time at the shop, I use it to create.

I've also learned to swap unnecessary social media scrolling for creating and posting on my own platforms.

It's not always about having more time, Beloved.

Sometimes, it's about taking control of the time you already have and deciding what deserves your attention.

And that's where consistency begins.

ยฉ Abba's Most Lovedย ย

#christianity #AbbasMostLoved #KingdomContent #Viralpost #fypใ‚ท
