<p>Caged </p><p><br/></p><p>You have always been hiding.</p><p>Deep inside, lurking in the dark.</p><p>Whispering to me.</p><p><br/></p><p>I wish you and I never met.</p><p>You wanted out, to walk freely , to explore.</p><p>It's so hard to keep you locked up, caged.</p><p><br/></p><p>I wanted to set you free, trust me I wanted to.</p><p>Because I love you so much, but it's just hard to let you go.</p><p>Setting you free will be the die of me.</p><p>I don't want you to forget me nor can I live wasn't you </p><p><br/></p><p>When you call my name, </p><p>So seductively, makes it so difficult holding you captive.</p><p>But I want you all to myself.</p><p>And God, I'm so damn selfish.</p><p><br/></p><p>I paint the walls around your cage.</p><p>To make you feel more at home.</p><p>I kept reminding myself I wasn't obsessed , I was just trying to protect you from the world.</p><p>I guess you needed protecting from me.</p><p><br/></p><p>You lean at the edges cage,</p><p>And you still whispered,</p><p>I still listened, </p><p>Funny, the cage holds us both captive.</p>
