------From home

    ------P. M. B. Box

    ------From your future self

    ------On your upcoming 24th birthday

This is a letter of encouragement, you got this. I love you from the moon and back. Your beautiful, you're an overcomer. Keep shining bright like the stars.

   Dear Self,

I know you don't always get it right. Sometimes you fail as a daughter, as a sister, a girlfriend, even as a friend. Sometimes doing the right thing is always difficult.

You don't have to be the most beautiful woman in the world — you are who you are, and that's enough. Having scars is okay; it tells your story and shows how strong you were. I know some scars are invisible, while some are visible for the world to see. Sometimes you even get judged for being you, but that's okay too.

Some scars are taking so much time to heal, but I want you to know I'm so proud of the fine woman you have become. You're not only beautiful, you're strong and talented. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

Your journey was so hard, with a lot of bumpy rides here and there, but I'm glad you overcame what was meant to break and destroy you.

Finally, I leave you with these words: be kind to yourself, love yourself unconditionally with no questions asked. Don't ever doubt yourself, because you're the miracle that you ever needed, and lastly, you are more than enough.
