<p>WOMAN</p><p><br/></p><p> I'm a woman, I didn't steal, I didn't kill. </p><p>My only offense was born a woman.</p><p> You took my rights away,</p><p>Saying that a woman isn't meant to fight back.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Telling me that the only thing I can be good at is to be someone's wife.</p><p>I have to lay there in wait and be of good pressure to my husband.</p><p>To bear children and take care of my husband's house.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Being a woman,you silence me, </p><p>Saying a woman's voice isn't meant to be heard.</p><p>You told me that I should forget my dreams and goals. </p><p>That I am unable to accomplish them, that at the end of the day I would end in the kitchen.</p><p><br/></p><p>Just because I was born a woman , you said that I am meant to satisfy the sexual desires of a man.</p><p>That all women are pretty faces, with no brains,</p><p>Refusing me the freedom to express my opinion.</p><p><br/></p><p> I'm a woman.</p><p>You took my rights, then gave them to a man. </p><p>You said my only sin was being a woman.</p><p>I wasn't allowed to be emotional or have feelings because woman are seen a the glue that holds are family together.</p><p>So, if I couldn't control my emotions,how will I control my household </p><p><br/></p><p>You made it pretty clear when you said the only job I would be good at was to sit and look pretty.</p><p>Waiting like a princess in distress for a prince.</p><p>You consider me weak and fragile.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The house chores are meant for me because I came as a women.</p><p>Of course, I am a woman.</p><p> You forget that I am like the wind that can't be tamed,</p><p>Or held down and caged.</p><p>I'm strong, shattering the chains that binds me.</p><p>Finding my voice in the chaos you created around me .</p><p>I am woman that spreads her wings to fly,</p><p>Like a bird.</p><p>A flame that burns never to be tamed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Yes, I am a woman</p><p>I will won't change my skin color just to please any man</p><p> I won't change my body shapes.</p><p>I stay the shade of colors and shapes I was blessed with. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>KITAN ❤️❤️</p>
