Dear human, Episode 5: Take care of what you have before it's gone.
<p>Neglect is a slow poison.</p><p></p><p>This quote always reminds me of my friend, Jemma.</p><p>Jemma was blessed with the longest , thickest, fullest natural hair you'd ever seen, with a rich black colour and wonderful texture. Everyone wanted Jemma's hair. I'll not even lie, me sef I wanted her hair too. </p><p>But there was just one problem–</p><p>Jemma never took care of her hair.</p><p>She rarely washed it, she never moisturized it,<span style="background-color: transparent;"> I don't think she even knew how to.</span></p><p>I started noticing how dry her hair was and how she was always itching her scalp</p><p>I tried to bring it to her attention but she never took me seriously.</p><p>" All these one no really matter, nobody will even notice. When they see my next hairstyle, that's the only thing they'll talk about".</p><p>But the itching continued and became even worse. Her hair started breaking, her scalp developed multiple injuries and somehow her hair became infested with lice. There was no other option at this point.</p><p>Jemma had to cut her long, beautiful hair because of negligence. If only she had taken care of it from the start, maybe I'd be telling a different story now.</p><p>Dear human,</p><p>A christian life not properly cared for can be likened to Jemma's hair </p><p>At first we're walking closely with God , bearing fruits, and doing exploits in His name but soon after we become relaxed and forget that there are necessary things we must do to take care of this new life we have now.</p><p>Other times, we see these things as too much work and just expect the growth to happen without putting in the effort.</p><p></p><p>We prioritize worldly pursuits over prayer, Bible study and fellowship and ignore "little sins" rather than seeking for forgiveness and restoration.</p><p>By doing this, we begin to slowly drift away from God and this creates a pathway for the enemy to swoop in and gradually destroy what we have. </p><p>Do not be like my friend Jemma and wait until things get worse. </p><p>Do not wait until the enemy destroys this life and you have to start all over again.</p><p>Read your favorite verse today, pray for a friend, pray for yourself, ask God to restore your relationship with Him and be intentional about it.</p><p>Take care of what you have now so that you don't lose it.</p><p></p><p></p>

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
