Did you know that HTML wasn’t always the way it is today?
<p>Let’s take a fun ride through how HTML started and evolved.
</p><p>Did you know HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language? It’s the language that gives structure to every web page you see online!
</p><p>Did you know the very first version of HTML was created in 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee, the same person who invented the World Wide Web? He built it so scientists could easily share research online.
</p><p>Did you know that early HTML had only 18 simple tags? Imagine building a whole website with just that.
</p><p>Did you know that by 1995, HTML 2.0 came along and made web pages more organized and flexible? It was the first official standard version of HTML!
</p><p>Did you know HTML kept growing and improving? HTML 3.2 and HTML 4.0 brought new features like tables, images, and forms so websites could look more interactive and fun.
</p><p>Did you know that around 1999, HTML 4.01 became the big deal? That’s when websites started to look a little more like the ones we see today.
</p><p>Then came XHTML, a stricter version of HTML that followed XML rules. But guess what? Developers found it too strict, so they wanted something more flexible.
</p><p>Did you know that’s how HTML5 was born? Introduced in 2014, HTML5 made it possible to add videos, audio, animations, and even games directly to websites without using extra plugins.
</p><p>And today, HTML5 is still what we use to build modern, beautiful, and responsive websites.
</p><p>So next time you open a webpage, remember you’re looking at the result of over 30 years of growth and innovation. Cool, right? </p><p>

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
