Do Firstborns have MAIN CHARACTER SYNDROME?

Do First Borns Have Main Character Syndrome?

So, I'm the first child of my parents and I have a younger brother whom I've always loved.

To be factual there was a bit of sibling rivalry of which we both played our part.

I used to think he was favoured over me and had everything easy for him. Now, I realise that he had issues growing up too. He had his own perspective. Life wasn't as easy for him as I'd thought. He also had his fair share of troubles.

Now, I wonder, did I have main character syndrome? Thinking everything revolved around me? Do all first borns have main character syndrome?

Anyway, now, when I look at him I am filled with love and admiration. I am in awe of who he is becoming. He's no longer the child I once knew but he's growing into an excellent young man and oh! How proud of him I am!.

How did it feel when you realised your sibling is no longer a child? Did you reminisce on the memories? Do you remember the nickname you had for them?

What do you think? Can you relate to this? If you loved this do share your thoughts. Oh and one more thing, give your sibling a hug or call them.
