<p>A random day I thought ,</p><p>A cool breezy Saturday at school,</p><p>Arose to enjoy the rays of the sun ,</p><p>Unbeknownst there was a tragedy that awaits.</p><p><br/></p><p>2nd day of the 2nd month a life was lost </p><p>More souls shattered,a life taken </p><p>The earth drank blood like it were water from a spring</p><p>Like it meant nothing to it,</p><p>indifferent to the aftermath,the pain left behind</p><p><br/></p><p>She deserved to live ,but life was sapped out of her</p><p>Yes,my mother died like it meant nothing ,</p><p>An accident! ,they said,an accident!!!</p><p>Was the reason behind that tragic incident</p><p>I promise she was cautious ,but it still happened </p><p>Taken to the hospital but it couldn't be mended</p><p>The doctors couldn't save her</p><p>Professionalism couldn't change the mishap that befell </p><p>A skull injury that couldn't reversed,she slipped out of earth just like that </p><p>She was a good woman ,she deserved a chance</p><p>But death didn't bother to give a second glance </p><p>This wound is deeper than an ocean ,sorrow swept me like waves of the ocean sweeps a ship without an anchor </p><p>The ache is alive and breathing ,soothing words wouldn't calm the ache ,at that juncture there was no medicine for my soul</p><p>I recall how hard it was to breathe ,oxygen felt poisonous ,my mind was distorted ,the scream couldn't take away the lump of despair from my throat.</p><p>Tears flowed like a river hot lava running down my cheeks ,it couldn't bring her back</p><p>My emotions erupted because it was hard to ingest the pain .</p><p>I lamented "Why do bad things happen to good people like her ,she had a heart of gold, a spirit of an angel but death laid it claws on her like an eagle on its prey."</p><p> Till date I baffle on the fact that she died with a smile on her face.</p><p><br/></p>

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:

How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.

How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.

Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
