Enjoy your Cruelty
<p>When someone hurts me,</p><p>I watch them like a scene I should not be witnessing.</p><p>I measure how cold a heart can be, how cleanly a person can detach.</p><p>I already carry a weight of pain.</p><p>Why add yours to my shoulders?</p><p><br/></p><p>When I do not react, they ask why I did not.</p><p>They ask as if their question is the wound.</p><p>I study their face and count their small cruelties.</p><p>You hurt me, and you still have the nerve to ask.</p><p><br/></p><p>In my head I build excuses for you.</p><p>I stitch together reasons so your guilt can wear a suit.</p><p>But people will be ugly on purpose.</p><p>Especially those who know you are already falling,</p><p>yet choose to kick you further into the pit.</p><p><br/></p><p>I hope your wickedness warms you.</p><p>Because one day you will be the one waiting.</p><p>One day you will stand where I stood and understand the architecture of despair.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will beg for an exit and find the doors locked.</p><p>Death will not arrive on time.</p><p>Pain will learn your name.</p><p>It will sit at your bedside and refuse to leave.</p><p><br/></p><p>The people you expected to rescue you will look away.</p><p>Even the hands that once reached will recoil.</p><p>Your therapist will sigh and mark you down as dramatic.</p><p>Your life will fold into a script where no one believes the main character.</p><p><br/></p><p>Every attempt to leave will be interrupted.</p><p>A fisherman will haul you from the river, dripping and furious.</p><p>A car will spare you but leave its bill and scars behind.</p><p>You will wake from surgery with stitches and a debt that hums like a cruel radio.</p><p>You will be alive and ruined at once.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will watch luck walk out on those you love, and you will be powerless.</p><p>You will remember the faces you broke.</p><p>You will plead for time to set things right, but time will be stingy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Enjoy your cruelty while it is yours.</p><p>Savor the way it feels to hurt someone who already hurts.</p><p>Kisses 😘</p><p><br/></p>
