<p>Last week I read a Substack from Moh Sheriff. And honestly I haven't been more inspired to push on in life like now regardless of anything.</p><p><br/></p><p>What have you noticed about most people that make it to the surface of the Internet and show up on our faces everyday. There is something about them. They are not regular. It's either they are too much, extra ordinary, different, cringe, funny, sad, demure or careless with words. They rub themselves to our faces everyday by showing up. They just do something.</p><p><span style="font-size: 10.5px;">These videos pop up on our fyp and feeds wether we like the people that posted it, and the content or not?</span></p><p>Out of the 100 percent that watch their videos, some scroll past it, some watch for a few minutes and scroll, some watch till the end and scroll, some go as far as commenting, sharing, reposting and liking. Either way something happened. And it was all because they decided to show up.</p><p><br/></p><p>An example is JUSTADA that posts more than 15 videos a day. PR included and more. Let's not talk about VEEKEE JAMES...LoL. VEEKEE has never stopped rubbing herself on our faces. Today they will criticize her, tomorrow they are in her comment section saying "God when", "I tap into this blessing". " I will be a veekee James bride one day" lol. From the same people that said she is an hypocrite, an oversabi, not a true christian and so on.</p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><blockquote><strong>How many times have you held back what you've always wanted to do because of what people would say and how they would react?</strong></blockquote><p><br/></p><p>The funny thing is the people that you are concerned about, are also concerned about what another person would say about them. And then the concerned, concerned is still concerned about what another person would say.</p><p><br/></p><p>Cringe is a circle and it exist. It accompanies life to existence. As you are born into life, you join the circle of cringe. It continues to revolve. More people are born and put into that circle. You decide to come out of that circle. And it takes your decision and dogedness, with a large coat of I don't care to be able to come out of the cringe circle.</p><p><br/></p><p>I met this guy a few weeks ago. He's very handsome. You know those kind of guys that have everything a typical Nigeria girl would name as her green flag. Both physically, intellectually and all round. Mheen this boy is so fine and collected like Jendol bread. His clothes were so slekly ironed kaii.</p><p><br/></p><p>Issokay let me not make you imagine him too much.</p><p><br/></p><p>But he did something cringe. He didn't walk up to me like every other guy would say "Hi my name is__ and you?". He came direct, bold and calm at the same time. And he moved as " wait...this is embarrassing, but I just rehearsed this whole approach in my head three times... and I still forgot, well can I borrow you my name for a lifetime?". In my head I was like, wetin dey worry this one?. Well I couldn't help but laugh....and guess who's DM I've been laughing in since last week?. Hehe.</p><p><br/></p><p>Eeehn he rizzed me. I know, don't tell me😌.</p><p>But honestly that intro was cringe and crazy, not the usual but he got me. And it was me he wanted.</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to go gaga, different and cringe to get whatever you want in life. The most beautiful things in life are in-between cringe. </p><p>Isn't it cringe that Otedola that didn't further to higher institution is writing a book about wealth?. I mean based on society standards and all. You should have bagged all the degrees in life to be able to qualify for something like that. But he did it anyways. It trended and still is. In less than 24hours 100 copies were sold.</p><p><br/></p><p>I didn't plan for this to be a long read, but here we are.</p><p>You better do that cringe thing today. Post that content. Go to that place. Ask for the position. Apply for that job. Start that content creation journey. Start that business. Don't do bad things though...hehe.</p><p><br/></p><p>If 100 humans are doing the same thing join them. You are not an animal (my bad don't let me be rude, I dey vex for you), you are humans like them also.</p><p>If you fail trying you tried, but you wouldn't know if you didn't try.</p><p>Set that camera irrespective of the phone quality, but....</p><blockquote><span style="font-size: 10.5px;"><strong><em>Make sure you dress your mind before you set the camera to address the crowd.</em></strong></span></blockquote><p>Start unprepared. Start clueless. Start ashamed. You and your audience will eventually blend trust me. It can only get better.</p><p>I started writing on Twocents unprepared with zero followers. Today I have 20 followers and more to go soon.</p><p>I don't have the perfect write up, but I'm still writing and will continue to write. Perfection doesn't come by folding my hands.</p><blockquote><strong><em>Be consistent and intentional because nothing looks like greatness until faithfulness is attached to it.</em></strong></blockquote><p>A word is enough for whoever read this insight ⚠️</p><p><br/></p><p>Found this in my journal for you.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_20250916_233031_533.jpg"/></p><p>And this </p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/Screenshot_20250916-232257.jpg"/></p><p>Make sure you follow me and recommend my content to others 🥺❤️.</p><p>Byeeeeee!!</p>
At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
