GOD IS A GIRL DAD.
<p>Fathers and daughters, a match made in heaven.</p><p><br/></p><p>Literally.</p><p><br/></p><p>They say a girl's first love is her father. I think that's true. </p><p><br/></p><p>She may love many times, in many seasons—but her first and deepest love often remains her dad.</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how I used dad instead of father? There's a difference. </p><p><br/></p><p>To me, a father is one who caused one's birth, while a dad– a dad is something more.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone who is present for the birth, crying, praying, jubilating. He's there when she turns one, when she's three for the tea parties and the princess dances, he's there to pick her up when she cries, there to love her until he dies.</p><p><br/></p><p>So, why is God a girl dad? </p><p><br/></p><p>If earthly dads shape how daughters see love, then what does that say about God’s heart toward women?</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how he chose Deborah to be the only female judge of Israel, something that never happened before?.</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how he gave the victory over the enemy general to Jael– a woman?</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how Jesus chose Mary Magdalene to be the first witness of his resurrection?</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how God changed the law regarding inheritance rights for women on behalf of the five daughters of Zelophehad? This proved that women could receive a direct and just hearing from God. </p><p><br/></p><p>Let's not even mention Esther, Hannah, and Mary His beloved daughters.</p><p><br/></p><p>Notice how in 1 Peter 3:7, the bible says husbands should show honour to their wives in order for their prayers not to be hindered?</p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, He boldly and openly showed up for his daughters then and does so now. </p><p><br/></p><p>God does not merely tolerate women.</p><p>He loves us, honors us, and trusts us.</p><p>He showed up then.</p><p>He shows up now.</p><p>This is not a distant Father—This is a Dad.</p><p><br/></p><p>God is a girl dad.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>PS: this is my first audio recording on this page, please forgive the flaws.</p>
