God's Handwriting ❤️
<p>I love how God loves me,</p><p>because He knows me.</p><p>He knows I won’t always listen.</p><p>He knows how easily sound escapes me</p><p>when my heart is tired or overwhelmed.</p><p>So sometimes, He barely speaks.</p><p>Instead, He writes.</p><p>He leaves Himself for me in sentences,</p><p>in moments that read like margins filled with notes.</p><p>In patterns I keep noticing,</p><p>in words that sit heavy and refuse to leave.</p><p>He knows I’d read.</p><p>He knows I’ll return, underline, question, linger.</p><p>So He meets me there—</p><p>in the quiet, in the slow work of understanding.</p><p>He meets me in my uncertainty,</p><p>when my faith feels unfinished.</p><p>In my doubt, when belief wavers.</p><p>In my limitations as a human;</p><p>aching, inconsistent, learning as I go.</p><p>And He doesn’t demand clarity from me.</p><p>He doesn’t shame my questions.</p><p>He doesn’t rush my growth.</p><p>He doesn’t pull away when I hesitate.</p><p>He just fathers me—</p><p>steadily, intentionally, without leaving.</p><p><br/></p><p>People say God is a girl dad.</p><p>I’ve been mostly indifferent to that.</p><p>But I think God is a Serena dad.</p><p>And I enjoy being His child.</p><p><br/></p><p>Even when I don’t know what to say back,</p><p>even when I’m unsure of what I believe,</p><p>He keeps writing.</p><p>And every time I recognize His handwriting in my life,</p><p>I remember—</p><p>I am known,</p><p>I am kept,</p><p>and I am deeply loved.</p>
