GREAT THINGS DON'T ALWAYS ATTRACT THE LOUDEST APPLAUSE.

Hi Soul Anchor 🕊️

Today, I want you to read this carefully.

Great things don’t always attract the loudest applause, at least, not every time.

I had the opportunity to counsel someone this morning after they did something I wasn’t pleased with. I told them: Don’t confuse people’s appraisal with approval.

Think about it, have you ever seen people get high and start misbehaving? Others stand around, cheering, taking pictures, and encouraging the chaos. Only a few feel pity. Why? Because it’s often easier for people to “support” you when you’re going astray, it entertains them.

When you live recklessly, you’ll attract a crowd, because your life is fun for them to watch. But notice, most of those cheering you on won’t do what you’re doing; they have better choices.

So don’t rejoice when crowds follow you for the wrong reasons. The truth is, foolish living often attracts many companions, but wise living usually means walking with fewer, genuine ones. Even the rich today keep small circles—wisdom recognizes the value of fewer, truer friends.

But here’s the shift: the moment you choose to get serious with your life, the applause stops. Suddenly, your dreams are mocked, your efforts ridiculed, and encouragement is scarce. Why? Because you no longer offer laughs for their entertainment.

Yet that is exactly where you should remain, because you’re no longer living for their amusement, but for the purpose God has placed on your life.

It may hurt to lose the crowd, but remember: their support ends when the laugh dies, but God’s approval remains forever.

I remain,

Abbas_Comforted 🕊️
