Happiness
<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness is not fireworks. </p><p>It is not the loud kind of joy that needs an audience. </p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness is morning tea </p><p>when the power stayed on all night. </p><p>It is your name said softly </p><p>by someone who remembers how you like it. </p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness is a full tank on a bad day, </p><p>a text that says "I’m thinking of you," </p><p>the smell of rain on hot tar in Abuja, </p><p>and laughter that comes from your stomach </p><p>before your brain can catch it. </p><p><br/></p><p>It is small change found in old pockets. </p><p>It is finishing work early </p><p>and having nowhere to be. </p><p>It is the child down the street </p><p>who calls you aunty and runs to hug you anyway. </p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness doesn’t ask for much. </p><p>It lives in ordinary things </p><p>and waits for us to notice. </p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes it leaves when we chase it too hard. </p><p>But it always comes back </p><p>when we sit still, </p><p>breathe, </p><p>and let the simple things be enough. </p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness is not a destination. </p><p>It is the road that feels light under your feet, </p><p>even when the load is heavy. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
