He is still a boy..

He, like most humans, is a very curious boy. He wondered to himself why his father never comes home anymore, he wonders to himself why his mother leaves home in the morning and only get back late at night. He wonders why he never gets to see his own parents, he wondered, but he wondered only to himself. He's beginning to realize.

He goes around with his friends, plays with them, laughs with them, but later on their parents will call them home, no one calls him home. Their parents will prepare the night food for their children, his parents are not yet home to prepare him his night food. He wondered why, but he wondered alone. He's beginning to realize.

Not everything is play, not everything is all smiles, not everything is all rosy and perfect. He sits in front of the door waiting for his parents, "where could they be?" He wondered, he wondered alone in front front of the door.

His mother would come home very late at night, too tired from work to give him much attention, but she came with chips, that would be his night food. His father will come home the next weekend, where he had been, he didn't know and he didn't ask, he rarely sees him again.

He was just 5, there's nothing he could do but wonder why things are happening the way they are.
