<p>He wasn't the most perfect one in the room</p><p>Not the most handsome or the most attractive or...... The most anything really. </p><p>He was just him </p><p>And maybe that's why she fell so deeply in love with him </p><p>Yes she wanted more</p><p>More of most of what he wasn't </p><p>But still she stayed </p><p>Bit because she felt bad</p><p>But because she genuinely loved him even with the absence of those things. </p><p>Even when she felt unsure, just hearing him say he loved her was enough. </p><p>It softened her heart like heat softens shea butter </p><p>She hoped to grow with him</p><p>To see the world with him</p><p>To cook expensive pasta together on a random Wednesday afternoon just because they were bored. </p><p>Maybe that's love. </p><p>Her definition </p><p>Not the fine toned skin structured by years of ice water and aqua gel skin care </p><p>Not the six pack abs built from raising bars in the gym </p><p>She wanted that too</p><p>But she wanted love more</p><p>His love </p><p>Just silly love </p><p>Love filled with laughter and gossips about the neighbours </p><p>Love where he reminded her more than ten times everyday how much he loved her </p><p>That was love</p><p>Her version </p><p>Not the Instagram type</p><p>No...</p><p>They would call it bare minimum </p><p>Just love</p><p>Her version of true love</p><p><br/></p>
