How can we claim to follow Christ and choose only the parts of Scripture that benefits us.

While it is true that the Bible had stated in the book of Ephesians 5:22, that wives are meant to submit themselves to their husbands. It is funny and strange how so many people quote this part of the scripture.. forgetting the part that also says in Ephesians 5:25, that men should love their wives as he loved the Church.

We forget that Christ loved his children so much he was willing to die on the cross, making it easier for us to communicate with God. It is really strange, a man asking a woman to be submissive because it was written in the Bible, forgetting his part that says he must love his wife.

We love God because he loved us first, a woman cannot be submissive when the man is maltreating her, speaking ill of her, leaving all the responsibilities of the household for her to handle alone and still expect her to be submissive.

I find it really funny when people ask why their wives are not being submissive or how they prayed for their wives to be submissive, forgetting a woman is also a human.. people get tired when they're not appreciated, when they're constantly told to do this and that and not loved. So please, if you know that you fall under this category as a male, before you start questioning your wives inability to be submissive.. Love your wife.

Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
