One thing I’ve learned is that it’s very easy to sound spiritual when you’ve never had to live through the thing you’re advising people about. Some people preach strength, patience, and faith so confidently, but they have never been in situations that shake your sleep, test your sanity, and force you to survive one day at a time.

And this is not me attacking religion. The Bible itself says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15). That means sometimes the assignment is not advice, it’s empathy.

There are battles that don’t make you loud, they make you quiet. They don’t make you dramatic, they make you cautious. And people who have never been there often misinterpret that silence. But even Scripture reminds us, “There is a time to be silent and a time to speak” (Ecclesiastes 3:7).

I’ve also realized that some people treat others carelessly because they assume life will never demand the same lesson from them. But the Bible warns us, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). Life has a way of humbling all of us.

This isn’t bitterness. It’s wisdom.

Jesus Himself warned, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). If you haven’t walked the road, don’t rush to explain it. Sometimes the most Christ-like thing you can do is listen.

Faith without compassion is just noise.

And love, according to Scripture, is patient, kind, and never dismissive (1 Corinthians 13:4).

I'm not being churchy now, but you need references? E dey ground... And we no dey talk without deep research.

You're reading the Bible that's not even reflecting in your life...

Most of us are the reason most people stop going to church, or join gatherings with our bad character abi na attitude.
