There was a time not too long ago when crochet was everything to me.

Not just a hobby, not just an art form, but a full-blown hustle.

I was crocheting constantly creating beautiful pieces, yes but mostly chasing orders, juggling clients, and holding it all together for the sake of business.

And I won’t lie the money was good.

That’s what kept me going.

Who wouldn’t stay committed to something that pays?

But over time, I began to feel the weight.

The joy faded.

The spark dimmed.

The stress became louder than the creativity.

And I started to realize I was losing my love for it.

Crocheting became just another task.

And with it came the pressure, the backaches, the mental strain all for the sake of meeting demands.

I was producing, but I wasn’t creating.

I was making, but I wasn’t enjoying.

So, I stepped back.

I asked myself why I started in the first place.

And the answer was clear "Passion" .

Not payment. Not pressure. Just pure love for the craft.

And so I returned.

To crochet for the joy of it.

To create without expectations.

To move at my own pace.

And most importantly, to breathe.

I still crochet but now, it’s on my terms.

For peace, not just for pay.

For healing, not just for hustle.

And that has made all the difference.

To every creative out there :

If the thing you love starts to feel like a burden, take a step back.

Remember your “why.”

Because passion deserves protection even from the weight o success.

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
