I MET GOD
<p>I went to church today</p><p>And I met God</p><p>He said it's been a while</p><p>I said I get that a lot</p><p>And then he smiled</p><p>Thing with church is</p><p>I respond 'work is good'</p><p>Before I say I am fine </p><p>They say they miss you</p><p>But no one called my line</p><p>It is what it is </p><p>And I'm still just a man</p><p>God said your more than that</p><p>You're my son</p><p>Well hey Dad </p><p>I'm sure you know what I mean</p><p>They say you're omni-present though you're hardly ever around</p><p>I guess I'm kinda busy </p><p>Just like you</p><p>I'm my father's son</p><p>God said He understands, I said I don't </p><p>He's always been here </p><p>And he loves me everyday</p><p>It's not really about church is it</p><p>I said you tell me</p><p>You're God anyway</p><p>He said how much time have you got</p><p>I said as much as you can share</p><p>Must be nice being God</p><p>And not been bound by time</p><p>He said now you're talking </p><p>You think your life's been unfair</p><p>You thought you'd be up there by now</p><p>But you feel left behind </p><p>You're blessed although </p><p>sometimes it's hard to see</p><p>Time is not the enemy </p><p>Not when I'm still your friend </p><p>Your life is still a testimony </p><p>And I'll be with you till the end</p><p>You're enough son and you're not just a man</p><p>You're God's man</p><p>So get back out there and be more than just a man</p><p>Oh Godddd!</p><p>You're good with this motivation sha o</p><p>God said he's been here for a while!</p><p>I laughed, <em>then I asked the Lord</em>,</p><p><em>What name fits you?</em></p><p>He said.. <em>YAHH</em> not focused, forget name, try de go church</p><p>Some other time! </p><p>God waittt</p><p>He said you're not my only son</p><p>Oh wow God's got jokes</p><p>But I'm the <em>one</em> so let the <em>99</em> rest</p><p>He said see you soon</p><p>I asked what do you mean?</p><p>I'm not dying today oo!</p><p>We both smiled and went our not so separate ways!</p>
