In the middle of 2024, someone very dear to me got diagnosed with multiple myeloma and then later on this week (first week of 2025) the doctor confirmed that she also has arthritis.

Conditions like this do not happen "all of a sudden".

The person in question is more than 6 decades old. So, I started to wonder, "Did she not notice any signs before?"

It occured to me that it's possible she would have noticed the signs, but never would she have imagined that it would have been pointing to arthritis.

Now, this happens to many other people too. What some think happened suddenly would often have been looming around for years, giving signals like an unstable bulb to get our attention. However, these signs are also very often ignored!

I came across a research earlier conducted in 2022 presenting that there is indeed an early diagnosis for Arthritis. This research article was published by Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City and presented by Theodore R. Fields.

I started to think, in this age of technological advancement and discoveries in science, that there actually will be a lot of other disease conditions like this that could be detected early before reaching a critical stage of no recovery.

Therefore, I decided to start a series on this space, where I will intentionally work on sharing with you more research articles that would give you the enlightenment you need to help save a life.

If you can, kindly, comment below what disease condition you would also like to read about in this series.

But I will definitely start with Arthritis.

Stay tuned...

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
