If It’s Meant to Be, It Will Be — But You Still Have to Show Up
<p>"I was feeling a bit pushed by emotions of love and uncertainty and this is what came up"</p><p style="text-align: center; ">People say, “If it’s meant to be, it will be,”</p><p style="text-align: center; ">and sometimes we take that as a reason to sit back and do nothing.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Other times, we hear it and still try to force everything into place,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">afraid that if we loosen our grip, we’ll lose it all.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">But the truth lives somewhere in the middle.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Some things aren’t meant to be forced —</p><p style="text-align: center; ">love, timing, growth, healing.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">You can’t beg the universe to align faster,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">and you can’t twist people into becoming what they’re not.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">At the same time, meant to be doesn’t mean effortless.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">You still have to show up.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">You still have to try.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">You still have to put in the work that’s within your control.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Plant the seed.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Water it.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Give it sunlight.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">But don’t yank it out of the soil every day</p><p style="text-align: center; ">to check if it’s growing.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">That’s where balance comes in.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Do your part —</p><p style="text-align: center; ">study, apply, communicate, improve, apologize, practice, heal.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Put in the right amount of effort,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">not obsession,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">not desperation,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">not self-neglect.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Because forcing things only creates resistance.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">It drains you.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">It makes you lose yourself chasing outcomes</p><p style="text-align: center; ">that were never yours to control.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">What’s truly meant for you</p><p style="text-align: center; ">won’t require you to abandon your peace</p><p style="text-align: center; ">or your self-respect.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">It will meet you halfway.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">So breathe.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Do what you can.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Let go of what you can’t.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Trust that effort without force</p><p style="text-align: center; ">is still effort — and it counts.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">If it’s meant to be, it will be.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Not because you forced it,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">but because you showed up,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">did your part,</p><p style="text-align: center; ">and let the rest unfold naturally.</p><p style="text-align: center; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: center; ">The End.</p><p style="text-align: center; ">Credit: Confidential 🙂</p>

Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
