Just Give Up, I Guess!

You know you could just give up, right?

‎Cos really, what’s the point of stressing yourself like this???

‎Just give up, pls. It won’t even matter… will it?

‎

‎Like… you’ve tried. You’ve really tried.

‎Yet nothing is moving.

‎Everywhere is stagnant.

‎So go ahead… give up!

‎

‎Because the delay is too long.

‎Cos your efforts go unnoticed.

‎Cos nothing seems to be adding up.

‎

‎Give up, cos trying again feels useless.

‎Give up, cos the future looks blurry.

‎And cos maybe it’s not meant for you, maybe you’re wasting your time.

‎So yh. Give up, guy rest!

‎

‎But while you’re contemplating whether you should or shouldn’t give up, let me give you a brief story...

‎

‎There’s a moment in the Bible where Elijah told his servant, “Rain is coming.”

‎But the sky was clear — not a single hint of hope.

‎Still, Elijah sent the servant to check the sky seven times,

‎

‎First time: nothing.

‎Second time: nothing.

‎Third, fourth, fifth, sixth - Nothing but that kind of emptiness that makes a person feel stupid for still hoping.

‎

‎Be honest — if it were you, you’d have quit at the third.

‎If it were me, I’d have gone home at the second.

‎But Elijah kept saying, “Go again.”

‎

‎Again.

‎And again.

‎And again.

‎

‎And on the seventh try, the servant finally saw a tiny cloud — “the size of a man’s hand.”

‎Nothing big. Nothing impressive. Just a small, almost useless cloud.

‎

‎Yet that tiny cloud became the storm that ended a long drought.

‎

‎Sometimes your progress looks exactly like that cloud, too small or tiny to matter.

‎But tiny things grow.

‎And it only becomes a storm when you refuse to stop checking the sky.

‎

‎So apparently, as easier as it is to give up, it's also so important that you don’t!

‎The only time you should give up or be stagnant is when you’re dead. And you’re not dead, are you?

‎

‎So don’t give up o!

‎In the end, na who give up mess up.

‎It might not be clear what the vision is, but clarity comes with movement.

‎Your past mistakes may be haunting you, but even God looks at the bigger picture not this version of you.

‎

‎
