Lies Over Truth
<p><span style="background-color: transparent;">Choosing lies over truth.. There is always a thin line between lies and truth that often gets blurred.</span></p><p><br/></p><p>    Lies, no matter the form, be it small or large, has become tools for self-preservation, manipulation, and even influence. Though it may offer benefits like preserving reputations, and avoiding conflicts, but it can also break trusts, destroy relationships, and bring about betrayal.</p><p>    People tend to prefer lies over truth in most situations. This could arise from fear of consequences for something they did, desire for control, or even cultural norms that reward appearances over authenticity.</p><p>    Moreso, in politics, business, and personal life, truth is often sacrificed for convenience and gain.</p><p>One lie could be told, but multiple lies needs to be told to sustain that one lie, which would eventually crumble under scrutiny.</p><p>    The outcome of lies can vary depending on the context and severity. It could be loss of trust, damaged reputation, betrayal, hurt or anger. It can even lead to legal consequences in some cases like fraud.</p><p><br/></p><p>There's a saying,<em> "A lie can travel halfway around the world, while the truth is still putting on its shoes".</em></p><p>Truth may be uncomfortable, but it houses transparency, accountability, and long-term respect. Being truthful takes a high amount of courage especially when sorrounded by dishonesty. But even at that, truth remains the cornerstone of trust, and without trust, no society or relationship can thrive.</p><p><br/></p><p>Make the right choice.</p>
