*EPISODE 15

“Lines We Shouldn’t Cross”*

---

The tension had shifted.

Aisha felt it in the way her seat creaked beside Deniem during morning prep. Deniem felt it in how her replies got slower… shorter… cautious. The school, once noisy with scattered laughter, now felt too observant. Every whisper felt like it was about them.

One Wednesday afternoon, their English teacher gave the class a surprise pair-assignment — two people, one topic, due by Friday. And fate, or maybe trouble, paired *Aisha and Deniem*.

“God abeg,” Aisha muttered under her breath as the teacher announced it.

Deniem smiled sideways. “We dey together inside this wahala.”

Later that day, they met in the library. It was empty except for the humming ceiling fan and two juniors snoring with open books on their chests.

They were supposed to discuss “Freedom and Responsibility.”

Ironic.

Because here they were — free to feel something real, but responsible for hiding it.

“I think… freedom is being able to like someone without fear,” Aisha said softly, eyes fixed on the notebook.

Deniem didn’t respond immediately. Then he said, “And responsibility is knowing if we mess this up, we lose more than just a score.”

Their eyes met — heavy silence, emotions louder than any bell.

“I don’t want to lose you,” Aisha whispered.

“You won’t,” he said. “We just… need rules. Boundaries.”

“Like?”

“No touching in school.”

“No sitting together in class.”

“No walking home together.”

They stared at the rules they were now writing in their minds — lines they shouldn’t cross.

But later that evening, when they reached the school gate by coincidence and their fingers accidentally brushed… no one pulled back.

Because sometimes, love draws its own map — and not all lines stay unbroken.

*To be continued…*

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
