Sex is a fundamental aspect of marriage. It is divinely ordained for pleasure and procreation. Ordinarily, married couples should feel free to enjoy sex. This should be done based on mutual consent and fidelity, however.

Married couples should feel free to explore various intimate expressions (kisses, romance, foreplay) as well as styles (missionary, 69, doggy, etc.) with their bodies as long as they both consent and derive pleasure.

Frequent sex can lead to lasting sexual satisfaction and fulfilment. This reinforces marital vows as well as tightens marital bond. Inherently, sex can prevent husbands and wives from indulging in extramarital affairs. This is something that has destroyed many homes in Nigeria. Couples that indulge in extraordinary sex are often infected with sexually transmitted diseases (gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, etc.). They can pass these virulent diseases to their partners.

There should be limits to sex. Excessive indulgence in sex can be bad for the physical health of married couples. Some sexual practices are pervasive. They are laden with risks. Couples should never record themselves naked or having sex - even with their own smart phones. This does not always end well. The explicit videos can fall into wrong hands which can lead to blackmail or public exposure if relationships sour.

During fervent prayer and fasting exercises, couples should refrain from sex. They should use this period to seek for God's blessings, provisions, and guidance in their union.

Healthy sex should be prioritized. If one of the couple is sick, the other should wait until he or she has fully recovered. Again, if the wife is seeing her menses, the husband should wait until the menstrual cycle is over.

In conclusion, married couples should understand that sex can result in unwanted pregnancies. They should embrace family planning. Ideally, after having four children, or if they are not emotionally or financially prepared to cater for children, they should use contraceptives (condom) each time they want to have sex.

Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
