MY FATHER IS A KING

My father is a King.

Not just any king, but one whose throne is established on righteousness and justice. He sits in majesty, robed in splendor, and no one dares to challenge His reign. His words shake the heavens, yet His voice gently calms my heart.

He rules with grace that never runs dry, and with mercy that triumphs over judgment. He needs no guards to protect Him—He is the Defender Himself. He fears no rival, for none can compare to Him.

My father loves His children deeply. He calls me His own. He has set me on high and clothed me with honor. He whispers, “You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar treasure.” In His kingdom, I am not a servant standing at the gate—I am a child seated at the table.

He provides even before I ask, shows up when I least expect it, and never turns His back on me even when I stumble. His timing is perfect; He is never late. Like a shepherd, He guides. Like a warrior, He fights for me. Like a father, He embraces me.

His throne is unshakable. The earth is His footstool, the heavens declare His glory. Kings rise and fall, empires crumble, but His kingdom has no end.

So you may ask… who is this Father of mine?

Who is this King who reigns with such glory and loves with such intensity?

The answer is written in ancient words:

“Who is this King of glory?

The Lord strong and mighty,

the Lord mighty in battle.” — Psalm 24:8

He is called "Aladewura" (the one with the golden crown)

"El-roi" (The God who sees me)

He is the Lord of Hosts, the great and mighty God,

my Father, my King.

The One who sits in majesty… and calls me His child.
