Mystery in Humanity No.2: On Understanding the World and Ourselves

Sometimes, people want to get close to the world, to truly understand it but they aren’t strong enough to face all the feelings that come with such understanding. The world is heavy, messy, and full of contradictions, and our hearts are fragile. Every discovery, every truth we encounter, can feel overwhelming. So, in seeking understanding, we ask questions. We look to others for guidance, for reassurance, because the people around us are the same they struggle, they falter, they repeat the same patterns over and over.

Yet, there is a strange comfort in this sameness. It reminds us that no one is truly alone in their confusion or their pain. Every human is searching, even if they don’t know exactly what for. We are all fragile beings, trying to make sense of a reality that feels larger than we can comprehend, trying to find moments of joy amidst chaos. Sometimes, the weight of feeling, of thinking, of seeing the world as it truly is, can feel unbearable but it is also what makes life so profoundly human.

And so, we keep going. We keep asking, keep searching, keep learning. We stumble, we hurt, we grow. We fail, and we try again. The questions don’t stop, and the world doesn’t pause but in continuing, in reaching for understanding, we begin to touch something deeper. We begin to see glimpses of truth not just in the world around us, but within ourselves.

Perhaps this is the essence of being human: to move forward despite the weight, to reach for understanding despite our fragility, and to recognize that even in our confusion, in our mistakes, and in our repeated failures, there is a shared humanity that binds us all. And maybe, just maybe, in learning to face our own hearts and to respect the hearts of others, we find the quiet moments of happiness we have always been searching for.

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality

Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
