This so-called electoral reform unfolding in Nigeria feels like a distraction from what is truly being prepared for the future. People say Nigerian leaders lack vision. I disagree. They are visionaries, only that their vision is aimed in the opposite direction of real progress.

Think about it: why push Nigeria toward a one-party system if the goal is merely to win elections? Elections can already be bought, manipulated, or coerced with far less effort. This move makes no sense if the objective is short-term victory. It suggests something deeper, it would seem an agenda hidden behind the curtains of the National Assembly.

By simple logic, it appears that the president and his political congregation are planning to remain in power beyond a second term. Constitutionally, this is impossible. But history shows that what cannot be achieved through law can sometimes be achieved through religion.

Whenever the APC wants to push something through, they test-run it.

The Muslim–Muslim ticket began as a rumor. Debates erupted, outrage followed, then the noise faded and it stayed.

Subsidy removal was introduced as a policy meant to help Nigerians. Again, debates started, people suffered, the noise died down and it stayed.

Then came tax reform. The same cycle followed. Debate, confusion, silence. It only failed because it didn’t sufficiently serve the pockets of those in power.

Now, another electoral system is being rushed through just before a critical election. At the same time, religious violence is being tested as a tool to silence dissent. These are not coincidences.

They are not playing a game. They hold the cards, they understand the outcomes, and most importantly, they understand the people. The people are the most important piece on the board.

By deliberately spreading systemic poverty, citizens are pushed into survival mode. People flee the country, retreat into spirituality, or chase wealth at all costs, while the idea of a well-governed society is neglected. In that vacuum, the future is looted, and generations yet unborn are robbed.

My message to these leaders:

Nigerians are suffering for crimes they did not commit. They are being forced into immoral choices just to eat, work, and survive. One day, this evil will arrive at your doorsteps in human form. Nature always balances itself.

My message to my fellow Nigerians:

Open your eyes, open it quickly while you still can. There are evil men coming who intend to shut them forever.

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
