Today, our beloved Nigeria marks her 65th year of independence. Sixty-five years since the green and white flag was first raised, and the anthem of freedom echoed through the land. Sixty-five years since the labour of our heroes past birthed a nation with hope burning in their hearts.

Our fathers and mothers, those who fought with sweat, courage, and even their blood, did not envision a country without struggles. They knew that the road to true freedom would be long, that the seeds of independence would take time to bloom fully. And though today we face trials; economic hardship, insecurity, divisions, and uncertainty; we must never forget that Nigeria is more than her challenges. She is the dream of millions who believed in her destiny.

Let us pause and honour that dream. Let us feel the weight of the sacrifices of those who came before us. Their courage is the soil on which we stand. Their songs of hope still echo through our streets. Their prayers still cover this land.

Yes, things may seem difficult. Yes, we may feel discouraged. But Nigeria is still ours. She is not perfect, but she is home. And home is worth fighting for, worth rooting for, worth praying for.

The Bible says, “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). So today, let us lift our voices for our land. Let us pray for peace in every corner, for justice in our systems, for prosperity in our economy, and for unity in our hearts.

Nigeria is 65 today—not broken, but still standing. Not finished, but still becoming. And in the midst of the struggles, may we hold tightly to hope, because hope is the strength of nations.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬💚

May your future be brighter than your past, and may we, your children, rise to be the heroes of tomorrow.

💚🇳🇬 Nigeria We Hail Thee. 🇳🇬💚

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
