OPARINDE CHRISTIANAH- HER MOTHER “SALVAGE” DAUGHTER.
<p>I was not raised to be silent.</p><p>I was forged to be seen.</p><p>I am the flame that walked through a house of mirrors</p><p>and refused to leave without knowing my reflection.</p><p><br/></p><p>They called me the black sheep.</p><p>I call myself my mother’s salvage daughter.</p><p>The one who walked through trauma and did not break,</p><p>the one who turned scars into armor,</p><p>pain into purpose,</p><p>wounds into wings.</p><p><br/></p><p>I am the risk that cannot fail,</p><p>the audacity that refuses to be tamed.</p><p>I am the joy of my own womanhood,</p><p>the hope that rises from the ruins,</p><p>the fire that does not ask for permission to burn.</p><p><br/></p><p>I am the pen that writes her own story,</p><p>a biography authored in courage, inked in perseverance,</p><p>and sealed with faith.</p><p>I carry a mind heavy with power,</p><p>a will that makes the earth tremble,</p><p>a voice that shakes chains,</p><p>and hands that build legacies</p><p><br/></p><p>I chose the mountain others avoided.</p><p>I climbed it barefoot, with no map, no applause, no guarantee </p><p>and when the stones sliced my skin,</p><p>I did not stop to weep.</p><p>I looked the stones in the eye</p><p>and <strong>cursed them for thinking I would bleed quietly.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I rise from the secret place of the Most High,</p><p>and when I step into the world,</p><p>the air itself bends before me.</p><p>I speak, and truth trembles.</p><p>I act, and injustice quakes.</p><p>I stand, and oppression falters.</p><p><br/></p><p>I am <strong>OPARINDE CHRISTIANAH.</strong><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/b4ac3c26-4457-4a7c-8563-520d9c5e8409.jpeg" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;"/></p><p>I am the fierce, the relentless, the indomitable.</p><p>I am my <strong>mother’s salvage daughter </strong></p><p>the one who survived,</p><p>who reclaimed,</p><p>who conquered,</p><p>who became more than the sum of all the stones thrown her way.</p><p><br/></p><p>I am the fire.</p><p>I am the roar.</p><p>I am the legacy in motion.</p><p>And I will not stop.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
