SELF LOVE

For someone like me who has struggled with low self-esteem for many years and is okay with staying in the background, I've always wondered why many people struggle to attract so much attention to themselves, often for all the wrong reasons.

I mean, it's okay to be a global voice and to shine as a light to your world, but with what motive? I see a lot of people clinging to the wrong set of company because they just want to be seen, and like that, they lose the essence of themselves. A life so unique that could have been a pathway for others is then made to go down a different lane because of the attention involved.

I see many people befriend the wrong crowd simply because they fear loneliness. For me, it's about self-love and independence. One of my affirmations is "I love myself regardless of whether you love me." My happiness, self-worth, and success shouldn't depend on others. Many people struggle with this, prioritizing belonging and recognition over their own well-being.

Embracing self-love means valuing your worth regardless of external validation. It's essential to surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you, rather than clinging to relationships out of fear or convenience. Prioritize your own well-being and authenticity, and you'll attract positive connections that respect your essence.

#inspiredlife

#Abbas_Comforted

© AKINSANYA.
