<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">LOW SELF-ESTEEM

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">To me, low self-esteem is when you look down on yourself, feel you’re not good enough, believe you can never do things the right way, always lean on others, never stand up for yourself, and allow people to step on you.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Story time:
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">There was a girl named Deborah. Debby had always felt invisible her whole life. When she entered a new school, she longed for a change, she just wished to be noticed.

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">On her first day, she observed the school: the “big girls,” the middle class girls, and the low-class girls.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">A low-class girl approached her, but Debby wasn’t comfortable with them; she wanted to belong to the “big girls.”

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Then she finally approached the big girls, they laughed but decided to let her “try out." And gave her three tasks.

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Task 1: “Tell us your dirtiest secret. That’s what keeps us together,” said Chioma, the leader.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Debby hesitated but, desperate to fit in, she revealed something private.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px"> "Hmm juicy" said Chioma.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Task 2: “Tonight, you must vandalize Mr. Chike’s car with this red spray.”
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">At first, Debby protested: “Jesus! I don’t think I can. I don’t even leave the house at night!”
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">But Chioma smirked, “Then you’re not ready to join us. Remember, we already know your secret.”
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Terrified of rejection, Debby obeyed.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">That night she sneaked out of the house to do as she was told. Unknowingly to her, she was secretly recorded her by them.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">The next day, she went to school scared but the gurls didn't look like they care
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Task 3: “Bring ₦300,000 for our next party.”
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Debby panicked. Where would she ever get such money?
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">"You have to figure it out and don't talk to us till you get it" said Chioma.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Two days later, debby mother received ₦350,000 to grow her business. Overcome by desperation, Debby stole the money and handed it to the girls.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Finally, she was “in.” Hurray? No.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Her life became more miserable. She was never truly accepted, never invited to any parties even the very party she funded, always used as their errand girl, and constantly blackmailed with her secret, the video, and the theft.

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">At home, her family was broken. They struggled and couldn't understand who had stolen the money, never imagining it was their own daughter. Debby cried every day, drowning in guilt, shame, and depression.

<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Back to course.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">When you don’t value yourself, you become desperate for acceptance. Low self-esteem can push you to betray your values, hurt the people who love you, and fall into traps of manipulation and destruction. True belonging doesn’t come from changing yourself to please others, it comes from being confident in who you are.
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">In conclusion
<span ;="" style="font-size:17px">Low self-esteem is a silent destroyer. It makes you think you are never enough, so you allow others to control you, exploit you, and define your worth. Like Debby, many people lose themselves trying to fit in. But the truth remains: until you believe in yourself, no one else’s acceptance will ever be enough.

MAJO♡!

#3

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
